The Hiwatahia-Taíno Dictionary is the culmination of years of research and work by the Hiwatahia-Taíno language team led by Kasike Jorge Baracutay Estevez (Taíno) and educator Jessie Hurani Marrero (Taíno), along with the guidance of Arawak linguists such as Konrad Rybka and Alexandria Aikenvald. It is a great feat for the Indigenous Taíno language reclamation movement.
